It seems I've seen Lomo cameras somewhere recently. Might have been that "Kosneys" gifty store in myeong dong. I can't remember if I saw any Holgas there. You could order online from somewhere.

Anyway those were only cool six or eight years ago when everybody and his brother didn't have one. If you want to be hip you've got to get a genuine DIANA or find out what the next big thing is going to be before it hits.

ah but with a holga you can adapt them to use 35mm film and do this

I found a shop in Hongdae that sells them, but at 99,000 won for something that sells for about 20 dollars in Hong Kong I couldn't bear to part with the cash.

Lomos are a bit pointless in my opinion- the effect of them is easy to fake, and what's so cool about taking photos that aren't in focus anyway?

I'd like to see a medium-format digital camera fitted with a Holga lens and shutter... now that would be interesting. Film is such a hassle.

well medium format digital cameras cost, 12,000+ dollars, and a plastic holga is 20 bucks- film isn't that much of a hassle

--edit, wrong price

James, check out the area of Chungmuro. There is about a dozen secondhand camera shops there and that is probably your best chance in Seoul of acquiring one.
