Hey,does anyone know if I can go to Japan while i'm here on a c-4 visa? I have a visa that allows me to work 2 winter camps (It was a huge drama but managed it!).
Anyway, i've got four days off between camps and would like to go to Japan with some other teachers while they get new visas. Is this possible or does single entry mean just that? - yeah I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I thought there might be some way to get around it. |

Quick answer is not sure.
You will have to get a re-entry permit to allow you to leave and return with your C4 still valid.
They are available at your favorite immigration office for a fee of 30k won... for a single re-entry stamp.
BUT immigration USUALLY won't allow a re-entry permit without an ARC. Your C4 is for less than 90 days so you don't need, probably won't have and probably won't be able to get an ARC.
Try talking to your local immigration office and perhaps they may help you.
The immigration office at the Incheon airport WILL NOT (experience talking here) issue a re-entry permit without an ARC. |
