|
|
Hey guys. I'm back in Canada and hooked back up with Rogers cable and I can't get Azureus to work. I tried deleting it, downloading it again and picking N.A. sites (mirrors?). That worked for a bit. What happens is that it tells me there are a ton of seeders available (or open, or whatever the terminology is), but I keep getting connection errors and a download rate of 0. I'm backlogged on Lost episodes, but basically these are episodes that are still pretty active and were quick to download when I was in Korea.
Am I doing anything wrong? Any advice will be greatly appreciated, but keep in mind I don't know the jargon (pretend you're explaining it to your grandmother). |

Apprantly Shaw likes to block low port ranges, change your port ranges to something nice and high like 49920. Make sure you open those ports on your router as well.
In Azerous click tools - NAT/Firewall Test. |

You need to login on your router. The IP should be 192.168.X.1 (X) being your subnet. It might be 1 or it might be 0. Depends on your router (brand). |

ok, it's not my port ranges.
What happens is it'll download for a couple of minutes then stop and sit at 0 for ages. Every now and then it might start up again, but it's at 0 more often than not. It still says that I'm connected to seeders, so that's not the issue, it just up and decides it doesn't want to do anything. I do get little green smileys, so it's not a NAT problem (according to Azureus FAQ's).
Any ideas? |

Dont use bitcomet, alot of sites are banning it. I would either go with Utorrent or Bittornado. |

thansk for the tip. Bittornado didn't seem to want to open properly for me, but uTorrent has been great. Already watched my first episode and waiting for the next one to finish shortly.
Thanks again!! |
