|
|
I am considering the purchase of a Dell laptop. I could order it online and have it sent to my relatives in the USA and have them forward it to me here in Korea.
Has anyone here ordered a laptop through Dell Korea? Did it have an English operating system? What was the cost?
Last year, I could bring up the Dell Korea web site but now it does not show up in my searches. If you know the web site please post it. |

My Dell, that I brought over from Canada, died on me while I was over in Korea and I had a hard time finding anyone who knew what to do with a Dell. Some tech just said that the hard drive was dead and that he could not get the parts to fix it. Groan! My Korean friend suggested buying a HP Compaq. |

My mother was recently on the phone with Dell (Canada), inquiring about buying a laptop from them. She asked the Dell person if they could ship to Korea and suddenly the lady became mega-bitch and would no longer even answer my Mom's questions regarding their products. She said that she wouldn't sell anything to my mom, because there was a chance that my Mom would send it to Korea. I'm guessing Dell and Korea have some trade dispute type things going on. |
