Patriots +3.5 over the Broncos

Give me a break. The Pats will not go down this weekend against the Broncos. Do you really think that Jake Plummer, formerly of the Cardinals can lead the Broncos over the Pats? He has not lead his team to a playoff victory yet. His critical interception will seal the win for the Pats and set up a rematch with the Colts. Pittsburgh might upset the Colts and then the Pats will face the Steelers for the second year in a row.

There are going to be a couple of "upsets"...

Denver will beat the Patriots hands down....Corey Dillon? c'mon his best days are long gone...Denver has the fastest linebacking core in the world to contain the running game! Brady will not have much time to make his reads...It's not going to be Jake Plummer who makes the mistake,it's going to be Tom Brady fumbling the ball at the Denver 5 and Champ Bailey returning it 95 yds the other way for a touchdown...

Denver Broncos 31 New England Patriots 21

Indianapolis will not have an easy time as everyone thinks with the Pittsburgh secondary. The key to the whole game will be Edgerrin James, who will run for a couple of td's. The Colts will have a difficult time handling "the bus" but he will fumble in a key drive...

Indianapolis Colts 24 Pittsburgh Steelers 14

Seattle Seahawks 28 Washington Redskins 10

Alexander runs wild on the Redskins defense and eats up the clock...Lights out for the Redskins!!!

Carolina Panthers 24 Chicago Bears 10

Julius Peppers and co. give the Bears offense headaches....

Nolan Ryan, you are funny. You say there will be some upsets and then pick the favorites to win in 3 of 4 games and picking Carolina to win is hardly an upset when they clearly have a better team than the Bears. The Panthers have been a little inconsistant but have a strong team. the fact that they have an offense is a great advantage.

I am glad that the Steelers pulled off the upset against the Colts. The Steelers will beat the Broncos next week to finally make it back to the Super Bowl.

AFC Championship game

Pittsburgh 24 Broncos 14

Hey JZer....

sorry to "upset" you but the Steelers don't have a chance in Denver!!!!

DENVER BRONCOS will represent the AFC conference after a 31-10 drubbing of your beloved Steelers! Only this time, Champ Bailey will step in front of Hines Ward (super Korean!!!) and run his heart out to score on an 80 yd interception return. Koreans will chalk it up to Ward not eating enough kimchi for breakfast that day...Look for Big Ben to be kissing the turf on nearly every pass play! Laughing

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS are going to beat the Panthers 27-20 to represent the NFC!

Looks like an ol' AFC West battle is shaping up in Detroit next month...

Got to watch all the games- back home for 6 weeks.
Both these games are gonna be sick, but I got to go with Seattle over Carolina, and Pittsburgh over Denver. Troy Polamalu is the most underrated player in the NFL!

Nolan Ryan you are crazy. Did you watch the Denver v sNew England game? Did you see Denver's d get scorched by the Pats. Denver allowed 420 yards in a playoff game. I wish I knew some place where i could look up past playoff stats quickly but I bet that teams that allow 400 + yards lose 80 percent of the time So, I don't know why you believe that they can hold the Steelers to 10 points. Furthermore you won't get any gifts like the AFC championship game in 1998. I don't think you will see the beloved Kordell Stewart come and rescue the Broncos this time.

This game is in no way a lock for either team. The Steelers could lose but it will be a close one. You should also read what they wrote on ESPN about the Broncos chances. Check the link below!!!

Hey JZer...

They don't have to worry about Kordell Stewart..the Steelers have a whole lot of current players on their roster with "butterfingers"...even that safety guy Palomalu with the crazy hair...Maybe they oughtta bring back Rocky Blier and Franco Harris back for a few handoffs... Laughing

That idiot who wrote that espn article also didn't look beyond the colts game..he didn't even consider the possibility of a steeler victory..hes another one on the Payton Manning bandwagon.

Manning is a pocket passer and that's why the Colts lost! Plummer is at his best when he rolls left or right which spreads out the defensive coverages. Plummer's mobility is going to give the Steelers defense big problems! You maybe right though, 10 points is too little and I must be crazy!!! The final score will be Broncos 31 Steelers 13

Nolan Ryan,

I guess you have not been watching Denver's defense too closely. They not only got fried agains the Pats but in their last 7 games against winning teams they have allowed 400+ yards three times. Denver has allowed 420 yards, 236 (against SD in a meaningless game for SD), 421, 314, 311, 388, 447 in their last seven games against winning teams. The Steelers offense is playing well since Roethlisberger got back in the grove and the Denver defense has proved to be less than effective against good teams.

Nolan Ryan, haa.... Denver got their a### kicked. Maybe next year. Which will happen first, Plummer makes it to the Super Bowl or South Korea and North Korea unit. I would pick Korea re-uniting over Plummer earning a trip to the Super Bowl.

Yep... they got their asses kicked!

Yes, Jake made some costly miscues...but I do give the Steelers the credit they deserve. They beat a good team in their own house! The Broncos did make it interesting until the second pick...

I hope the Steelers can do it again. It would be nice for Bettis to end his career with a ring and for Bill Cowher to get credit for hanging in there for 14 years. I would also like to see them beat an old AFC RIVAL ...the Seahawks! It should be a good game.

By the way, JZer, you can put your football card collection, your stat book and your dolls away now! Laughing
