I cme down with conjuctivitis and went to the dosctor here. She stuck her finger in my eye without using gloves and then used her computer? She put me on 3 days of antibiotics and some other pills?? Also gave me eye drops. She said that the ailment is common this time of year. It went away after about 8 days and then came back and then hung around for 5 days and went away for 6 fays and now is back again. Each time it comes back it seems milder than the last time. I seem to be at the mercy of the Korean health system. It is quite annoying that it keeps returning. I try not to touch it, butr have no control over touching it while asleep.
The first and now thew third time I have some swelling of the eye lid. Burning sensations. The first and 2nd time had tearing. Mainly in one eye. Can not tell that it is in the 2nd eye.
Has anyone had experience with this as an adult. Did you continue to teach? Ever have it reoccur like in my case.
Thinking of going to the Internation Clinic in Itaewan if it is open on Saturdays
Please help thank you
Help please. |

From what I've seen of past students, yes- very.

And now I know why it's so common.
Anyway, good luck with that. |

I know that the foreigner clinic at Seoul International University Hospital is available on Saturdays, but you have to call first to make an appointment, and you usually have to wait a awhile once you find the right place. They seem to do a very thorough job though, and they have plenty of doctors and specialists that can give second opinions and all kinds of tests...
The main phone number there is 02-760-2890, but once you get through to the nurse in charge of foreigner appointments she may give her direct number (...which I can't seem to locate now - it's been about two years since I've been there...) |
