Hello everybody! I've been teaching at a hagwon for about 9 months now in Suncheon. I don't want to work in a hagwon next year, and I don't want to live in Suncheon. I've been looking at Busan. Maybe a University job, or teach at a public high school. Is it hard to get a University job if you don't have a masters? I have my TEFL, and taught in Korea almost a year now. Do you know of any good places to apply? Good places to live in Busan as well? Thanks to whoever responds appreciate it.
Also, if you know of anybody that wants to work in Korea with little if no teaching experience, I know of a couple of good hagwons in Suncheon. |

I don't have any job leads, but I think Haeundae is the nicest part of Busan. I have already lived in a small town in Korea for aover a year so when I took this job, I took it for the creature comforts, not the "korean experience." Living in Haeundae you can bypass a lot of the stuff that seems interesting and different in your first few months in Korea and pisses you off so bad after you have been here a while. Plus you are close to the beach! |
