Are they any places in Seoul where it's cheap to get a load of laundry done? If so, which parts of the city? |

There are quite a few places called Ballae-bangs ("߷ " I think) where they'll take your laundry then wash, dry and fold it for you.
I wouldn't call them massively cheap, I can get an average sized carried bag full of stuff done for 10,000 won, but have been charged twice that (I'm pretty sure they were dry cleaning rather than washing my socks and underwear).
I found my old one walking along the back streets in my area and looking for places with steam and washing smells coming out of the door, found my current one (in Hongdae) by asking on here. |

20 kilos? Are you sure this is 'laundry' we're still talking about? |

I like clothes, the cheaper the better.
Dongdaemoon has been good to me.
So yea, I have lots of socks, winter undies, Jacket type things, jeans, khakis etc which need washing. Yes, at least 20 kilos. Yes, I'm a moron, and I have way more clothes than I'll ever need.
But at least I eat well.
So, once again..any leads on a cheapISH place to do my laundry?
Back home (and I know I'm not in Kansas anymore), I could do the amount I have for under 20 bucks in a self serve 'mat.
Here, I'm just looking for someplace where they'll let me do it, or do it all for me, for under 100,000won.
I already brought my load to one place in the 'twon, and they looked at it bugeyed and quoted me over 200. F that, thats probably more than I paid for the lot.
Thanx

Self-serve laundromats seem to be popping up at the back gates of certain universities. I can't name any in Seoul, but take a look. |

Most dry cleaners will also wash your clothes if you ask them. I suggest you just go around and ask them. |
