It looks like I'll be returning to Korea next fall and would like to get a system custom-built, so I'm wondering if I should maybe pick up some components this summer back home. So- as far as things like motherboards, graphics cards, RAM, hard drives/optical drives, etc... are they generally more expensive in Korea or in Canada/USA?

Most components are similar, except for graphics cards, which are often much more expensive.

Also, if you plan to go wireless, the better wifi routers/APs are a LOT more expensive here. You'd pay 250,000 for a Belkin Pre-N router that you would pay 120,000 for back home.

Notebooks are more expensive here, too.

Compare prices at www.danawa.com or www.enuri.com

Agreed. My new graphics card is on its' way here from The States as we speak. Pick up the graphics card while home.
