now hello there. i've just joined after a browsing period which i found very helpful in deciding whether to move to korea for a year teaching. I've already posted on the jobs forum and i shall also be using this forum for more lifestyle related issues and questions i may have in the near future. Please forgive my lack of knowledge about forum ettiquette and language as i'm also new to this.( even though i'm a 26 year old graduate).I will post an avatar once i've learnt how to use my computer. Shocked

Hello, Panchotino!

"Forum ettiquette"? It's simple! There is no such thing!

Here is one way to post an avatar:

1. Decide on a subject for your avatar.
Go to a search engine which searches for images, such as
http://www.google.com
Enter a search word and click.

2. This should give you a pageful of miniature pictures.
Right-click on the picture of your choice.

3. This should give you a drop-down menu.
Click on the last word on that menu.
I don't know what the word is in English, but in Korean, it's Ӽ (P),
so I guess the English word starts with a P.

3. This should give you a box containing the URL address of that picture.
Write down that URL address.
There probably is a way to block-copy that address, but I haven't found it.

4. Come to this Website and click on Profile.

5. Enter that URL for your avatar.

Hello there.

Welcome aboard. Come to Korea. I love it (been here for 4 months so maybe the homesickness will come, although I doubt it)

I always hold the door open for people and let them get on buses before I do.

When I try to do this is Korea it doesnt work...because they dont even wait for you to offer, they just jump ahead.

The first time I tried to let a lady skip the queue (line) in front of me to get on the bus first, the driver got pissed off at me.

Anywho....come to Korea
