I just got back from a Shinsegae this morning and apparently they had a major sale from like 2 weeks ago till Yesterday  |

They often put out signs saying that they had a sale, when in fact they didn't.
That way, they can raise the price another 5,000 won from what it was a week before, and hope that people don't notice.

I'm not exactly sure when the "sale season" starts but I can tell you that a lot of places are clearing out their winter stock right now. I was at Lotte Young Plaza and Myong-dong this weekend and most stores had their winter stuff for at least 30% off. I picked up quite a few items from WHOAU and everything was at least 50% off. I didn't go to any of the international brand name stores(Polo, Levi's, etc) so I'm not sure about those but almost if not all of the Korean brands are discounted right now. |
