We did that here on the boards about a year ago?

19 means genius?

I doubt it. I got 22 and others around here got more when we first did it.

It's more about cultural knowledge and acronym/puzzle ability.

I got 26, but it took some thinking. (about 15 minutes) Could probably get a few more. I'm a bit upset that #24 isn't "13 Loaves in a Baker's Dozen." As English teachers, one would hope that we are all above average in "linguistic pattern recognition" but I agree that 19 was way to easy to count as "genius." On the other hand, if you can get a perfect score in under 15 minutes, that might count.

#24 is 13 loaves in a baker's dozen

The most I could manage was 22. I'm sure if I wanted to waste more time on it, I could figure out a few more...or not

This is a memory/association game, nothing more. Saw it in reader's digest about 3 decades ago. And loved it. Still do. Smile If you are not American, could be tough (which means the validity is shot to hell.)

All questions are culturally related, so its not an indicator of IQ. A remote Amazon Indian could not answer those questions, despite being very intelligent otherwise. Would you know the medicinal uses for 100 different types of plant?
