How much are those iStations selling for?

The v43 starts at around 450,000 won for the 20gb standard player and goes up to 623,000 won for the Navi (GPS), Power 30gb version. The i2s are running in the 400,000 to 500,000 won range right now and if you want a pmp1000, you can get them for 100,000 on auction.co.kr, but pretty much nowhere else.

I bought my istation v43 for 550,00 for the 30gb power package. Came with all the cables, a wireless remote, the headphone wire remote that also has a mic in it, and a nice case. Yet, I am never using the thing so if anyone is interested I am willing to sell it for 450,00. I just hate having expensive things around that I just don't use. If interested drop me a PM.

a friend of mine was supposed to buy an ipod video last month... but i convinced her to buy the iStation v43 instead... she had never heard of it until i told her about it... she loved it!

it's got a lot of features... you can play videos with subtitles, mp3, ogg, navigation/gps, eOffice, image viewer, comic strip reader, PDF file reader, eBook reader... 30 gb hdd, 4.3" screen which is really great compared to the iPod's 2.5" screen... it can also be connected to a big TV...

she and her husband will be traveling to Ulsan this weekend and i'm sure it's gonna be useful for their 5-6 hour trip...

Can you video out so that the istation would hook up to a video project and stereo system.

I really want a portable way to carry movies into the classroom, which already has projectors and stereo equipment.

Yeah, you can. The v43 is supposed to have excellent AV out video quality too.

I just went to the i-station site to get more info, but they won't even let you download the manual without registration, which requires a serial number.

All I want to check is if I can play DVD's that I transfer to the i-station. I don't want to be limited to avi's wmv's

Superhero I have the manual in Englishee is you want i can send it to you. I have hooked mine up to my TV without any poblem and the picture was great. There are plugs for audio/video/s-video/and SPDIF for 5.1 audio. I am pretty sure that you would be able to transfer DVD's right to it the thing plays almost every type of file.

Your answer is pretty much all I need. As soon as I have a few extra bucks I'll be picking one up.

Send me a PM with your email address and I'll email it to you.

As far as codecs, I am sure that it will play anything DivX as it is one of the only players out there right now that is fully licensed with them. It should play pretty much anything.
