Clinton backs Blair as future UN head

Bill Clinton, the former American president, has given Tony Blair his backing as a future secretary general of the United Nations.


Bill Clinton works with HIV/Aids charities ( among other things )

Mr Clinton said Mr Blair would make a "good" head for the international organisation when he steps down as Prime Minister, as he has promised he will do before the next general election.

Current secretary general Kofi Annan's term in office ends on December 31 this year.

Word had it CLINTON HIMSELF was in line to take on the "job" as head of global government.
