Well, good luck finding a job for four months. I've never heard of any. I'm pretty sure most contracts are for a year.

If you do find one for four months, I highly doubt they would spill for things like airfare. I also highly doubt you would get a completion bonus like you do for a one year contract.

The completion bonus is actually a severence payment, required by law. It's not just foreign English teachers who get it...my understanding is that every Korean is entitled to one month's severence pay after completing one year of employment with an employer. It's kind of like a savings plan. You get it after every year of employment, from what I understand.

If you really want to teach in Korea, why don't you commit for a year like everyone else?

Op probably's been looking at camp advertisements.

Yes, they're for a short duration and normally run Summer and Winter. Although you'd be better to check the "Winter camp" threads for more info. i'm pretty sure there's no bonus as such on offer.

Look toward this coming Summer now as the camps for Winter seem to be winding up.

Winter camps are now. Summer camps are in July/August.

You might find a summer camp in September....? Keep in mind camps are only a few weeks long, not a few months.
