I am sure this horse has been thoroughly beaten. Sorry. The search option didn't help me much. I am dealing with a recruiter (Longbridge Pacific) right now that seems to be on the up-and-up but according to them I must send my actual diploma, the one that makes my mom so proud, along with transcripts, etc. to the school (not the recruiter) in Korea for them to get my visa papers in order. Is this right? Thanks.
Plus any Seoul vs. Daegu thoughts are welcome.

Its standard for your E2 visa to be granted...

However, most will accept a copy notarised at a Korean Consulate... I know I'd be taking the notarised option myself, not that the school has any bad intentions but the possibility that it could well get lost, and the upheavel it would cause...

I made about 15 copies and paid $2.00 each to the consulate in the states. I got back my original with my copies notorized. When anyone told me to send them my original instead of the copies I told them to take a hike and I moved on with my life. No regrets! The only people who need to see the original are those working at a consulate who will notorize your copies. Next thing you know they'll be saying you have to mail them your passport too Rolling Eyes .
