In the 10 years this disease has been diagnosed in the west, 150 people have died. In other words, out of the billion people who eat beef in the western world, 1.5 people die per year. More people probably die eating veggies every year than die of CJD. More people die from toxic seafood or e.coli in beef than die of CJD. We don't know a lot about BSE and how easy it is for people to get "infected" (BSE/CJD isn't actually caused by a virus or germ... some abnormal protein that teaches other proteins in your brain to unravel...) so it's good to be very cautious. However, the chances you'll ever get CJD eating beef are beyond rare.

I agree. It's the special interest groups like PETA and the American media that would have you think otherwise.

You are aware that Carl Lewis admitted to steroid abuse, aren't you?

I got five words for you: Flo-Jo, dead, 30's, enlarged heart.

Americans cheat, too, pal.

Ahhhh... I was aware. Isn't it just like an American to not get caught in the act and to wait for the statute of limitations to lapse? Doesn't it just burn you up?

I guess he'll have to stamp an asterisk on that shiny gold medal hanging in his trophy case.

Ain't it just like you and your junta not to care.

Guess you frauds threw the rule book out the window along with your "Constitution, " or whatever it is you call that rag.
