Damn it...now I am going to have to dig out the old old old forgot CDs...

Spinoza...maybe check out some VENOM or Cannibal Corpse....

I would also suggest downloading AZUREUS (bit torrent) at
www.download.com

and instead of limewire use azureus and surf for goodies at:

www.torrentcentral.com or www.isohunt.com or www.thepiratebay.org

you will get stuff much more quickly and complete....full discographies..etc...

Cheers for all that.

I've heard 'Evil One' by Venom and 'Hammer-Smashed Face' by Corpse.

I like Death. Beavis will recall Death's 'The Philosopher' being on his show.

anyone on here listened to undisputed attitude? Its an album of covers that slayer did of bands like the stooges, TSOL and minor threat. Awesome album and was a favourite of mine for a long time.

Any of you dudes into more 'core contemporary metals?
Old Slayer's fine, but a little passe and they suck nowadays.
How about the Depressive Metal in USA now; Leviathan, Crebain, Xasthur... If yr. interested in metal you owe it to yr.self to give these guys a listen.

What about the stable Black Metal scene in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe; Gorgoroth, Darkthrone, Taake, Drudkh, Nokturnal Mortum.

Or, for that matter, Korean metal bands like Othean, Crash, Niflheim, Moonshine. Kinda wanky, but they're the only thing we're gonna see live over here. I used to be friends with the Othean lead guitarist but then he got a new girlfriend and started playing blues... we grew apart.

I think the only modern Metal band still going I still listen to regularly are Type O Negative - whose 90s albums 'Bloody Kisses', 'October Rust' and 'World Coming Down' are classics in my view.
