Actually I just tried listening to it on slow and it's creepier. That's still eight times faster and higher-pitched than what it was. |

I'm suprised nobody has yet mentioned...... the koala....
Sure it looks cute and cuddly.... but it can pull off some pretty wicked karate-kid moves when threatened... Tough? Hell...... even Chuck Norris has never gone one on one with a koala..... |

gotta go with the pit bull. Pits are bred to feel no pain and attack without mercy. Hell, they were "invented" to fight gladiator style against bears. |

Going with the Mantis Shrimp, AKA "Thumb Splitter"-
beautiful, deadly, and as Koreans know- tasty!
It has the FASTEST movement of limbs in theanimal kingdom. These limbs happen to be the shape of serrated Jack knives. An experiment was conducted (possibly by Jacques cousteau, I can't remember) where the shrimp was able to snap in two a 1" diameter wooden dowel faster than the eye could see.

Some pet mantis shrimp have managed to break through their double-paned aquarium glass with a single strike from the weapon. |
Saw them as big as my forearm (ok, well, compensating for refraction, they were probably closer to 10-11 inches) off of Racha Yai (near Phuket)- incredible creatures. |

Now that's just pathetic. Why can't you be like the rest of us, and just keep it real? |

I think the sound on Wikipedia has been sped up by a dozen times or so because the original was so low. Ah, 16 times.
I don't want to download Realplayer, hope it dies. |

Religious Conspiracy Theory #137:
Have you ever wondered why Cthulu and the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster look so similar?
I think that FSM secret society, "Opus Boyardi", has smudged over the true Cthulu based origins of the religion!!!
Somebody tell Rense!
(Ick already knows, but the moron just hasn't figured out what the 'lizards' really are yet)
Okay, sorry for the thread hijack, go back to talking about Tony danza- er, uh, toughest animals. |

I think after reading Pligganease's end quote regarding America-Pligganease, by the way, reminds me of someone who's changed their username- I'D BET THE AVERAGE AMERICAN COULD BECOME THE TOUGHEST ANIMAL, EVEN THE LESS THAN AVERAGE WHIMPS, and devour him bonehead and all!
Nonetheless, to answer your question, THE SNAPPER IS BY FAR ONE OF THE TOUGHEST ON EARTH!
Heard of a guy putting 20 pumps from a pellet gun into one snapping turtle's head and it still wouldn't die.
How'd like to have one of those chomping on your genitals? Pligganease? |

see, thats another reason I said pit bull. There was a case two years ago when the state troopers in LA (CHIPS) had to put down a pit that had been hit by a car. Even after being hit by a car the dog required 9 shots to the head from a service pistol to be put down. Last months Maxim, showed some pics of a pair pf pitbulls taking on a bull in ravaged new orleans. The pits were winning until the national guard stepped in with their carbines... |

I hope that you can see the complete sarcasm in my signature. If not, well, good luck with the finger painting.
Everyone on this board knows that I don't think America sucks. |
