Cigarettes, according to China's tobacco authorities, are an excellent way to prevent ulcers. They also reduce the risk of Parkinson's disease, relieve schizophrenia, boost your brain cells, speed up your thinking, improve your reactions and increase your working efficiency.

Exactly what i was thinking. It's obviously not too difficult to see through their amazingly *cough* *hack* "scientific" claims.
Hmmmmm ... just out of curiosity, i wonder if they actually go so far as to claim smoking is PATRIOTICK ??? IF you love the motherland ... wouldn't surprise me |

Big tobacco has some kind of an arrangement going on over there. I noticed that they were finally allowed to make their inroads into the Chinese market at about the same time those class action lawsuits hit in the States.
I'm wondering if, as smoking comes under fire domestically, something hasn't been planned to allow them to replace revenue through Chinese sales of product. How would the Chinese benefit though? Duties placed on imported smokes? Or if it's part of some US-China government agreement, I suppose the reward could be on products in other sectors or even just policy agreements... where's the money trail though? |

Well, reality is the "tobacco" products most governments allow their citizens, to purchase, consume, and slowly poison themselves with are in truth first & foremost "chemical" products.

Whatever happened to creation's natural unadultered tobacco ???

Why do Chinese need to smoke? Aren't their cities full of smoke?
Maybe there isn't enough of smoke just yet. They could still see an on coming SUV 20 meters away. |

Here's another matter they'll likely soon be telling the public is good for their health ...
Migrant China Workers Wear Diapers On Trains
1-24-6
BEIJING (Reuters) - Migrant workers in south China are wearing adult diapers on packed trains heading home for the Lunar New Year holiday because they have no access to a toilet, state media said Tuesday.
About 120 million peasants from China's vast rural areas swarm the cities for work and all try to make it home for the holiday, filling all standing room on trains and making access to the toilet impossible during trips often lasting 24 hours or more.
"During the peak travel period last year, some passengers even became deranged on their journeys because of the conditions and jumped out of the carriages," the China Daily said.
The Lunar New Year, which this year starts on January 29, is the biggest holiday in the Chinese-speaking world and family reunions prompt arguably the biggest movement of humanity on Earth.
"During the peak travel period last year, some passengers even became deranged on their journeys because of the conditions and jumped out of the carriages," the China Daily said.
Many supermarkets in southern Foshan had reported a 50 percent increase in sales of adult diapers for the train trips, the China Daily said in what some local commentators called the "shame of the nation."
It did not mention other cities.
Domestic media said railways in China had transported 3.8 million people alone Monday, an all-time high.

Nicotene is a stimulant. Korean cigs don't cause cancer.
Most U.S. DEA pilots in South America are wired on 'speed'... not to mention the military. The latter just couldn't pay attention long enough and were to 'tweeked' to find those pesky weapons of mass destruction. |

I hate anti-smokers.
Take a big puff of the wind come out of your own arses and die you miserable dogs.
What shits me even more is when someone lights the old peace pipe and then decides to lecture me on the hazards of smoking.
Dear God.
Or people who are just so uppity about it. Like someone in an underground carpark bitching about my cigarette fumes. WTF?! |
