Has anyone here flown on China Airlines?
What can I expect if I choose them to fly me to Bangkok? |

Two stop-overs in Taipei!
I used them a couple of times between Taipei and Seoul and once Taipei to Amsterdam vv.
All in all, I found 'em OK. cabin service was - of course - much better than Eurpoean or US airlines, but sitting for 12 hours in a semi-pressurised aluminium tube is hardly a natural experience. |

I think that's who I flew to Qingdao with.
Just another airline, they gave me some so-so food and didn't crash. If I want in-flight entertainment I take a book. |

Didn't actually fly with them back from Thailand but was waitlisted. The flight from Bangkok leaves at 7.30 am (which is a tad early for me) and there is a 5 hour stopover in Taipei on the way back to Seoul. They are also considerably cheaper than Thai which does not inspire confidence. Pay the extra and fly with Thai. |

I've flown China Airlines several times back and forth to the US out of Bangkok. No problems, a safe and comfortable flight. Friendly stewardesses, decent food, in flight movies. I would recommend them and will use them again. |

the one good thing about that airline is that you can smoke in the back near the toilets in coach. |

i flew with china air from bangkok to the states and overall it was a pretty good flight. i thought the food was a little worse than what you get with other airlines, but the entertainment options seemed better. they do have a reputation for crashing a lot though, which is probably something you might want to consider. |
