I'm planning on getting the airport limousine bus to Incheon Airport tomorrow morning. Should I expect lots of traffic due to Lunar New Year? I'll be leaving from Nowon.

no, don't worry about it. there will only be about 8 million extra people on the roads.

actually, you might want to leave 2 hours earlier than you normally would.

hehe-

how many of those 8 million people are taking the road towards the airport though? I don't think you'll have any trouble once you get out of the city- maybe you could get the subway to Gimpo/Hapjeong and then get the bus from there?
(I have no idea what line Nowon is on)

true ...
most people might be leaving seoul for other parts of korea. but i have noticed incheon can be unpredictable ... especially going there from central or nothern seoul. it took me three hours once from near dongdaemun because of some road construction that had backed everything up. who knows what could happen during the lunar exodus.

Not because of the holiday, but I'm going to stay at one of the hotels at the town near the airport on Sunday for my Monday morning flight; don't want to wake up at 4am in Seoul to make it to the airport on time to check in 2 hours earlier than the flight. I'm glad I made that reseravation now because not only can I sleep longer, but I won't have to worry about getting caught in the holiday traffic.
