When applying for jobs outside of Seoul I am sent links for websites; however, when I go to the website they are usually not put together very well. All I get is the usual "Welcome to beautiful ____________."

click here to see photos.... I click..... I get a page with more words.

Why can't they at least have a link with their location located on a nice big map of Korea for me to locate it?

There's not that much information that I have found using search engines about these cities. Either they are spelled differently or I get some guys blog about flying over the city or something unrelated like that.

I know, eh. What the f*ck is that? "Ooooooooooh! What a nice and helpful website where I need a secret decoder ring to figure out anything. Thanks for wasting my time." Then anything that has English is going on about what they do to help the world and show you all these pictures of morons who worked there neons ago that have already been deported, quit or fired. Who knows?

It's like those ads on this site or others that say "Really good for you!" with stars surrounding it. Before you even look you know it's going to read "2 million". Ooooooooh! Or you scroll and scroll and scroll to find the salary. See the salary or not. Hit the back button...

What about those ones you see in the subject "2.7 million!" then you read the particulars and it reads, "2 million" and you're wondering what happened to the 700,000. How much more will you be screwed over for if you sign the contract.

Bunch of retreads.

I'm all for including historical information on websites but when the website consists only of historical information then it is of little use to me. If I am trying to decide between cities to live in then it is much better to be able to know how large the city is, what there is to do there, and to have photographs of the city itself.

To make matters worse, these websites don't seem to use normal English in the first place. It's as if every single article MUST be in the form of some sort of poetic device. "Shrouded in the mystic blah blah blah." NO..

Or I will open up a page and they will list play by play, everything that has happened in the city since the 9th century BC.

Every city and town in Korea has a Hooters. Does that help?
