I would like to use my Costco Canada membership to shop in Costco Korea....Is it possible? Also, does Costco Korea sell the same things as Costco Canada? Are merchandizes more expensive?

Thank you in advance!

You'll find some of the same things (Kirkland brand), but not everything. I was there today (Daejon store) and they had Cheerios and Triscuits!!! But, alas...no dill pickles!!! I'm down to my last 6!!!

Do you need a membership at Costcoes to shop or does it just get you a discount on things?

You need a membership card to get in the door. Once you have a membership, everything is a discount.

My in-laws own a business in the US and have a business membership at Costco; they say my wife and I are on staff and we get a free card.

I really doubt that.

Having spent my life pretty much equally between the two countries (at least before coming to Korea), I can assure that it is true. Costco Canada carries all the fatty junk from the US plus our own home-grown consumer rubbish. Good eatin'!

they'll have honey, but it's insanely overpriced. They carry cheese, though not that brand. Not sure about the vitamins, and very doubtful on the sensodyne and listerine.

You can find dill pickles now but they're not called "dill". They're called Gewurz-Gurken. Yeah I hate sweet pickles. Why why why? For a nation that eats kimchi why prefer sweet pickles over dill pickles? Did the American army only serve sweet pickles in the 50s? You can get a bottle at many better Korean grocery stores or the import food section in department stores.

Costco in Daejon used to have dill...Farman's brand. Does anyone know if they still have them in the Seoul Costco? I've tried the Gewurz-Gurken, but they're too soft for my liking.
