Hi, all,
How many times have you come to Korea to teach, left the country before your contract was finished, and then returned to Korea again on either an E-2 Visa or a tourist visa?
I know this may be a personal question but I would appreciate all serious answers.
Thanks,

I left 3 weeks early but with the understanding of my school. They weren't having me teach any summer classes anyway. |

i've never done a runner. i've known plenty of people who have for various reasons. runners are really a last resort -- most problems can be worked out without coming to that.
why do you ask? considering one yourself? |

No, I am not planning on pulling a runner. I am not in Korea at present. Last time I was in Korea I gave my notice and received a LOR. An urgent family matter came up, after I had given my notice, so I did not look for something else but returned home.
I am considering coming back but I will wait until E-2 is finished and then go from there. |

As long as you were released from your contract you shouldn't have to wait to get a new E2. |

You're right, Son Deureo, but I would need to use my "Get out of Jail" free card (LOR). I would rather wait then have to give an explaination to a perspective employer as to why I left my last job. |
