Is there any way? |

There are a lot of foreigners here working in factories and the like. And of course, there is the risky and unrewarding illegal teaching route. I suppose it depends on how desperate you are. |

How unrewarding is illegal teaching?
and are the any links or other information you could provide about the factory work. I wouldnt mind that much, as long as the pay covers rent.
and.. Yes, I am quite desperate to go. |

You sound desperate. I'd try New Orleans. |

You could teach illegally but you run the risk of getting busted and tossed out of the country after paying a fine. That risk, while it was low before is now a bit higher.
Factory work..hmmm don't know about that one. |

Why not look at teaching English in China? As far as I know you don't need a degree to teach there.
You'll never be able to teach English legally in Korea without a degree. You'll have trouble finding work too because you won't be very marketable to Korean parents...who can't imagine how someone who looks Asian can speak proper English.
Also, for the sake of the reputation of English teachers in Korea, don't come here without a degree. |

Thanks for the advice. The last thing I want to do is something illegal and get banned from the country.
I should consider China, if theres no other way. But I really do want to go South Korea. |

If you really want to do that, why not go to university and get a degree? Really, you're taking a pretty lazy approach to it. |

Easy to say, hard for some people to do. Pretty heavy judgement considering you know nothing of the OP's circumstances.
Factory work here is tough, but the pay will cover your rent....many workers get a bigger place together as it's easier to pay the rent with a couple of roomates.
Working illegally is not advised for obvious reasons. Your reasons are your own, but I would sooner have a construction job in the west than face what foreign "3D" workers face here. |

I'm curious. Why South Korea rather than China?

Yes. Why do you want to come here? There is nothing here for tourists. |

None graduate? You mean "non-graduate". For the love of god, if you can't get a simple prefix right, you have NO BUSINESS thinking you're capable of teaching English. Stay out. You'll drag the rest of us down. Suck it up and finish a degree. |

Well maybe he doesnt want to teach English?
Teaching English isnt really an option for him anyay. We know that he would have a VERY difficult time finding a job due to the fact that he is an ethnic Chinese. Hagwons want white faces, unfortunately.
There ARE options for him. Not really good options, like factory work, but if he is desperate, then why not? |
