I searched the site, and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know where I can go to a really nice Greek Food restaurant? Me and my girl are just dying for some roast lamb. |

I know a couple of greek restaurants, and neither of them do Roast Lamb.
Bruschetta Pix does a lamb steak though? |

Dunno about the roast lamb but Greek Joy over in Hongdae does some really nice souvlaki and gyros. It's located across from the little park on the way from McDonalds to Route 66. Highly recommended. |

However the owner has read most of Somerset Maugham's books if that's any help? |

Thanks man! I just hope it's not overcrowded this Saturday! But maybe Itaewon is a good place to go, seems to have lots of nice restaurants. |

I was in Santorini's last Friday. Service has gone way down, though the food is okay. |

just ate at the place and wanted to comment. OK, if overpriced , however with my gyro the included "pita bread" was a six inch tortilla. not cool at all.
edit; sorry, didn't mention it but this was at santorini

They don't have lamb (go figure), but the Greek restaurant in Hongdae across from Shooters is pretty good. Love their Greek salad, generous with the feta cheese, and the guy that works there (the owner?), has great English and is super friendly. Really, one of the friendliest Korean guys ever, always smiling, treats his customers well (and for da ladies - he is pretty young and dare I say it? A catch even - NOT GAY!). |

The place is called Sandi and Drak, though Sandi has left the business to help his family's business in China. But Drak, the Korean owner's nickname, is a damn nice guy and has lived abroad.
There is another Greek place across the main gate of Ewha Womans University. |

This place use to be great, nice and intimate, but with it's increase in popularity they consequently stuffed as many tables as they possibly could into too small an area meaning a loss in service and ambiance. The food is still pretty good though. |

Petra's staff is rude and the food made me sick- literally.
Santorini's is overpriced for what you get but the food was good enough. I haven't been there recently so i won't comment on the alleged decline in quality.
Sani and Drak's is a nice place but they seem to be getting really lazy and slow with orders. The quality of the food have declined as a result- lets hope for a resurrection. Their tzaziki sauce was quite good.
I've never tried Greek Joy so some feedback would be welcome. |
