hello everyone.
I dont think anyone, for any reason, should work here illegally, if for no other reason than if you get caught, you could risk future opportunity here.
That being said, this thread has taken a very harsh and hard right turn into the assumption that this individual wants to teach english here. The OP only said that he wants to live and work here. He said nothing that I can see of about wanting to teach english, except queries to replies...
That also being said, and I say this gently OP, from what I read in in your last post, your english is simple not very good. Yes, I understand what your saying, but it's not good enough to teach with. I'm sorry.
The other posters were correct. Go get your degree. Short term pain, long term gain. You want to travel and experience. I am 40 years old. I started university as a mature student in my late twenties. I have spent more than two weeks in more than twenty countries. (less than two weeks to me is transit) I can get around in 4 languages. Your degree will open the door to Korea, as well as the rest of the world. You say money is not that important. I agree. I used to have lots of it. My ex wife has it now. But, money does buy happiness. It buys you the plane ticket to go to another country and smell the different airs, it buys you that half cooked, unskinned, rat on a bamboo skewer (Laos), it buys you that camera with which you can capture memories that will last a lifetime.
Go back to university. Your life will be much richer, and I dont mean money. |

4) Join the U.S. Army. You don't have to be a US citizen.
|
Is that true? |
Yes. You have to have a green card, though. I'm not sure if the Army will sponsor you for the green card application, or if you must get one first before joining up. |
I know that there is a program for non-Americans to get a green card through service in the US military, because I used to study some social issues with a minority group in America and I learned that you can not get that green card after 1 tour of duty. So if you want to become American, and you go with them to Iraq, and complete your tour of duty, you still can't be an American yet. In fact, some people still don't have the green card after 5 tours of duty. Given how they keep picking new enemies every few years though, that could go by quite fast. Hey anyone remember Grenada? What a threat that place was. Good thing they nipped that in the bud, hey? |

If you just wanted to be a drifter and pass through South Korea for a few months to see the country, then you may find like minded people to stay with (usually for free) on:
www.couchsurfing.com
You could probably stay in South Korea for 90 days on a tourist visa if you had an onward ticket.
But working here unlawfully without a visa is a bad idea. |
