I didn't get the money yet, but I definitely brought up the plane ticket thing. He seems to think that plane ticket is 700,000 Won. I'm from Fredericton, NB. The cheapest one I found was 1.6 million. I showed him on a map where these cities are and told him that it's very expensive to fly to my home from these places I told him "Fark it. Just give me 50,000 more a month next contract and that'll total 600,000." At the same time, I brought up a billion things because he said something about saying "Shut up!" to my students. I only paid pension on the last 7 months, taxes are less than that, etc. |
I wouldn't want to go back to Fredericton either  |

| I talked ot the labour board about this a while back, and it really depends on the wording in your contract. In 99% of cases they said, the school doesn't have to give you cash in lieu of a ticket. |

| ... but, if you are re-signing you can get cash. You just say, "Well, ok I'll take the ticket instead (and you can fly another teacher here). How about you give me this instead of paying all that for a ticket". 1 + 1 = 2. |
