I'm renewing my contract at my present school, and will need to get a new Visa. It was my understanding, as of last year, that my Degree and Transcripts were not needed. However, reading through the forums on several different sites, I get conflicting information.

If I renew my contact at my present school for another year, do I need to bring in my Diploma and Sealed transcripts?

- This is for Seoul Immigration office
- I did the whole Diploma Verification thing

Has anyone done this recently (At the Seoul Immigration office)?

You only need to do the transcript thing when you get a new visa (ie - new school). If you are just extending your sojourn, as long as you have already gotten your diploma verified, no further diploma/transcript verification is necessary unless you change jobs. So all you need to take to immigration is your new contract, employment certificate, passport, ARC, a photo to attach to the form, and some cash.

JBC got it. You don't need transcripts. You might need a new sponsorship letter from your employer as well, depending on the period covered under the original. And I never needed another photo to extend.

Yeah, you probably don't need a photo, but the form you have to fill out has a place to attach a photo, so I always do. When you have a mug as good-looking as mine, you wanna spread the love.

And you've extended this year?

Because I've read in a few places online that since 2006 they are requiring sealed transcripts.

For new visas.

And yes, I just extended a couple weeks ago.
