Hey everyone!!
I am thinking seriously about trying to obtain a degree from the University of London using their external learning (distance education) program.
It looks very comprehensive and most of all- Affordable, at least compared to American acadamia
Has anyone here ever graduated from that program?
Is it worth the money?
How long does it actually take to complete the degree requirements? |

I was looking into that program myself. It looks really good. However, I decided, at least for now to pursue it.
Something that you may want to investigate on your own is an article I came across about six months ago: http://education.guardian.co.uk/universityteachinginspection/story/0,,1698166,00.html
I think that anything from University of London is a safe bet but their university structure is not understood very well. The University of London is basically a collection of many individual colleges that are institutions in their own right but are federated together through "University of London." University of London's colleges are almost fully indepdenant institiutions.
I have heard noting but good things about the external program, and as far as I know, they are recognized qualifications. I know that the UK has a tendency to value these kinds of awards more than in USA.
Which degree are you interested in?
Good luck! |
