|
|
My school told me today I'm only getting 720,000 in lieu of my flight home. I flew here from Ireland and paid for my own ticket upfront, thus saving them quite a bit of money. I realise that they aren't obliged to give me the cash but we agreed on this a while ago. They kept delaying about telling me how much I would get by saying that head office don't get prices until the end of the month, so now it's too late to do anything since I leave next Thursday. In other people's experience, how much did they receive from their school for their flight?
I checked online and the flight probably wouldn't have cost them less than a million, so are they pulling a fast one? |

I think you should have gotten them to pay for your ticket from Ireland... |

What I meant is I paid for it and I was reimbursed. The ticket cost them a lot less than it would have if they had bought it from Korea. |

Doctor P(h)il would agree that you should be reimbursed for exactly what
you paid for the ticket - no more, no less.

I agree, I would accept nothing less than the full amount of the ticket. They should have bought the ticket in the first place. You shouldn't have to worry about that. |
