Woohoo! Its on a Tuesday, booo. I hope it doesn't start too early - I don't finish work til 7:30pm! The venue is the Seoul Arts Center. I'll post ticket info and whatnot when I find out about it.

This show is coming up in 2 weeks, thought I'd give it a bump. The show is at 8pm. Cheap seats only 20,000 won!

Thanks for bumping the thread since I hadn't seen it before. I'll go get my ticket tomorrow. I know that the schedule is terrible for many people, but it's great for me!

In appreciation of your bumping the thread and letting me know about this, I promise to do my part to free both beer and chicken. I never even knew they were locked up.

Seriously, thanks.

Not only did I go, I ran into him and most of his band at a kalbi place a couple of hours before the concert. The waitress sat us at a table right next to them. When he got up to leave I (very shyly) asked for an autograph and he actually stopped to talk to my table for about five minutes. He talked about his time with Blakey and the how much he had enjoyed playing with the Grateful Dead. Branford Marsalis is an extremely gracious and friendly man.

got to see him and joshua redman at the wichita (yes, kansas!!) jazz festival one year. Excellent show! I couldn't imagine how wynton could posssibly be much better than him, but what do i know? One of the few moments I wished I lived in Seoul..
