I need recommendations on a decent hotel (not 5 star, but not a backpacker's hostel either).
And I know Berlin is next door but Potsdam is the preferred location.

| Why would you want to stay in Potsdam? I actually stayed there a little over a year ago in a hostel. The only reason I did so was that it is less expensive than Berlin. It really isn't bad at all going back and forth by light rail. As I remember it, it's about 30 min., but I could be off. Hope you have a good trip. |
