Give the curling 5 minutes and you won't be able to take your eyes off it for hours. Addictive as hell to watch. Must be great to play.

curling is more interesting than ping pong or archery

Joking? Curling must be up for most boring sport in the universe. Archery I`ll give you, but ping pong at least people are moving about, it`s a lot more dynamic, not up near the top of the spectator sport list, but way way way ahead of curling.

And anyway, Id much rather watch archery than curling. The worst thing on TV in Canada, besides commercials for Tim Horton's would have to be curling. By far the most boring "sport" on earth, even more so than golf.

No.
I would rather watch the infomercial about the shoulder-strap-posture-fixer-thingy.

Not much love for the curling then....

When one team are down with their backs to the wall and the 'curler' (I've no idea what the guy who slides the thing down is called) the 'brushers' (again, no idea) go into a mad, frantic frenzy. Brushing for hell to make probably no difference at all....It's tense. It's intense! It's...It's...curling!!

It never occurred to me before, but ALL SPORTS in the Winter Olympics are played on either snow or ice. I never thought about that before. As if ice or snow was a prerequisite. I'd like to see them broaden out a bit, like a frigid freestyle swimming or something.

I've always thought a race on ice, with the competitors wearing regular sneakers, would be riveting. They could have two events: smooth and bumpy. Like peanut butter.

Laughing Laughing Brilliant. They could also do the decathlon version of the race where the competitors would throw snowballs at each other.

How does that expression go again?
Oh yes, here it is- "He who laughs last..."

And apparently there was a STREAKER in the middle of the Bronze medal match!

Yeah. They move 4 feet to the left, 4 feet to the right. Lots of movement.
