He's young, not afraid to play young players (ala Quinn), has player respect through the league, and has won with teams not loaded with talent (Anaheim) and teams loaded with talent (Detroit). |

Agreed Babcock would have been a better selection this time around or next time, no disrespect for those toronto or vancouver fans that think Quinn is a good coach, but I just don't see it never have, with the exception of the world cup he is a loser, never won, even as a player..
Just don't think he is a good coach, Babcock, Nolan, Sutter Sutter, Sutter, Sutter and Sutter along with guys like Burns and and likely two dozen other individuals in the Hockey Canada program would have been a better selection than Quinn. |

Ok, I was joking about Nolan.
But Toronto is the centre of the hockey universe so the concept of a coach coming from there, where there is so much media hype, is not off the wall. |
