|
|
Ok - The job I've had for the last 3 years - expected me to wear a suit, shirt/tie each day (all year) - I have done that but recently maybe over the last 2 years also added a few inches to my stomach/etc
I am about to start a new career this week - where I have been told wearing a suit is unnaceptable - and I am NOW expected to wear denim jeans each day (with a t-shirt/sweater)....
so today I visited Lotte & hyundai department stores - to find (of course this years NEW STYLES) - everywhere - however they only stock jeans up to size 34/36.... and shirts up to size 105....
Is there anyplace (some store - maybe Itaewon) where they sell the good brand jeans but in larger sizes - such as 38 inches etc??
I rarely go to Itaewon - but will travel if someone names a place (for sure) that stocks the larger sizes....
Thanks |

Have you tried the Lotte Department Store next to Cheongnyangni Station? That's where I bought mine. |

Go to Namdaemun market in Seoul. You'll get a much better deal than at Lotte. |

Wow, there are employers in Korea that want you to wear only jeans?? That's a little unusual, isn't it? |

I used to dislike trying to find jeans in Korean stores because I have hips and don't have a flat butt!!!
If you want North American sizes and cuts of jeans for men and women, go to the Harley Davidson store in Itaewon--their stuff is made in the USA. It's a bit pricier, but for sure their jeans will fit and look nice.

Itaewon, right around Schlotsky's (is that still there) there are a few 2nd floor shops that have what youre looking for. Knockoff jeans (L&C- I think meant to loke like Lee brand...)
Can't give you a name, but definitely on the 2nd floor and I remember a 90 deg. turn in the stairs.
hope that helps. |

Yesterday: Try Big Boss in Itaewon. They have a mens section on the second floor and female section on the third floor. They have a huge amount of American style clothes in bigger sizes. Go past subway about 500 feet and it's on your left. There is a red sign that says Big Boss.
