Which of these places would you recommend as a place to live? Seoul Natl University/Nakseongdae/Sadang/Bangbae? They are all on line number 2(green line). Does anyone actually live out there?
I'm looking for a place that has a few bars/restaurants/stores for food/gym etc...
Thanks |

i lived in sillim-dong once upon a time.. (close to Seoul National University on the green line).
I'd probably choose Sadang out of those 4 mentioned.. not that its that good in itself.. but there are two subway lines that cross there. Being in Sillim-dong on the green line meant I always had to transfer at Sadang to get north of the river. |

I've lived over by Seoul Univ and in Bang Bae. I also went over to Nak Sung Dae about 2-3 times a week while was living near Seoul Univ. I think Nak Sung Dae is a little slower than all four mentioned. And suprisingly Seoul Univ is relatively slow compared to other University areas that I've been to. There's some nice restaraunts around and I saw a lot of bars but that's almost anywhere in Seoul.
Bang Bae is a little more fun with more stuff to do and it's closer to places like Gang Nam which also is fun place to go to. I too would probably recommend Sadang. Although out of the four it's the place I'm least familiar with it's location with the two subway lines is really good. The housing behind all the stores and nice buildings lining the subway stations are kind of dirty and run down so I would avoid those places but centered around the station seems like a good place.
Just my two cents. |

I want to add Bang Bae is a good place now that I think about it. Personally I probably would go to Bang Bae. It seemed like there was more stuff there than Sadang but then again I did live in Bang Bae so I checked it out more thoroughly. Bang Bae or Sa Dang I think are both good choices. |
