Watching the news conference with these two, and if I were American, frankly I"d be embarassed about his trailer-park English, while his host spoke a far more eloquent version of what is not his first language. Clearly having an MBA doesn't guarantee that one will be articulate. |

Thanks for that insightful, eluminating post. Here I was thinking Bush was eloquent, but now that you provided your opinion on the man, I've changed my mind! |

Are you sure it's not his first language. As far as I know, for a lot of Indians, English is the first language. Don't let their particular dialect fool you into thinking it's a second language. I found this on a quick Google search:

Of course he speaks better English than Bush. He's a Prime Minister, as in the leader of Commonwealth nation. |
