Yes, Andre the Giant, he was very active. I remember going to his table in one of the wrap around corridors of Madison Square Garden when I was about 8 years old. He gave me his finger ring and I could fit three of my fingers into his ring.
I couldn't stop talking about it. |
We did have Bruno stop by occasionally after he retired, but Grand Prix was pretty much the Leo Burke/ Killer Karl Krup show. We also got a steady diet of Stampeed Wrestling. So I got to watch Chris Benoit when he was a nobody.
