My girlfriend, an SNL intern, drunkenly asked Thom about his paralysed eye, "Mr. Yorke is your eye always like that, or only when you've been drinking?"
I received the "f*ck off" an hour later, when hoping he forgot who I was, I sheepishly asked for a photo together. He still remembered.

I remember when I was a kid, my family went to get lunch at The Brown Derby, a famous restaurant in Los Angeles. We were waiting to be seated, and Tom Bosley (who was relatively famous at the time because he played the dad in Happy Day) came in and told the host that he was there before my family. The host told him very calmly that he would gladly seat him after my family. At this point Bosley became belligerent and said "WTF! don't you know who I am!" The host let him know that he did indeed know who he was, but that he would have to wait his turn.

As he stormed out the door, he said f-you to my mom, dad, uncle, grandma, three little sisters and myself.

It was refreshing to see a restaurant not give in to a belligerent celebrity. However, I never say Mr. Cunningham the same way again.
