Sleepy today so I could barely come out with a title that made any sense. I hope you all know what I mean. Here are a few of my least favourites:

1 - Anything that pops up when you're in the middle of something else. The thing I liked the least about Internet Explorer when I used to use it was how it would bring the window into the foreground as soon as it finished loading something. "Look, I'm done, I'm done!" This client for connecting to the internet at Starbucks is still worse. It pops up in the middle of nothing to tell you...what? Nothing, really. "Still connected!"

2 - Anything that brings you back to the username area when you're trying to log in as soon as the page has finished loading. You know how that goes - you put in the url, the page loads up, there's the login window and you start logging in. Little do you know it's still trying to load an ad from the bottom of the page. You start logging in: Username: Mithridates Password: ntern (page suddenly loads up and you're suddenly back to username) Username: Mithridatesntonefcrc Password: ntern Not paying attention you hit enter and suddenly realized you've been played for an utter fool.

3 - Automatic features in word processing software - oh, it's an i without anything after it, it must be capitalized! No, it doesn't need to be capitalized. Hit space. It's capitalized again. Very helpful.

4 - Any ad that pops up over a log-in window. Let's check my email. Username: Mithridates Password
¼¼ ϱ ñϼ? ⿡ ٷ Ŭ! ^-^/) (Wanna read Mr. Famous Korean's diary?? Click here!)
Even worse is when there's no button to get rid of the ad.

5 - Anything that doesn't use Unicode in this day and age. Mm, Hotmail. There's a new message. I'm set to Korean and the title is garbled. But how is it garbled? From the garbling it seems to be garbled Japanese. Let's go to settings (tum de dum) - language (tum da dum dum) - Japanese (okay)...and back to inbox, and....no! It's garbled something else! Repeat steps above. Maybe it's Chinese. I'm sure it's Chinese. Back to the inbox. What, still garbled? Maybe I'll just click on the message. [email protected] oh shit, it's Russian spam. Mad

that can be turned off either on a per document basis or permanently. I forget how, but I've turned it off.

Yeah, I've gotten a few of them off. I should probably invest the two minutes it would take to get rid of the rest of them. Problem is that I'm easily distra-

web pages without separate URLs for their sub pages so you can't send links to your friends. Cyworld, daum cafe, etc.

Korea is the damn wild west of web coding.
