woo hoo.

korea goes undefeated to clinch pool A. upset japan 3-2. park chan-ho looked good as the closer. lee seung-yeop came up big in clutch situations. park min jae played great at SS. and the whole pitching staff combined was incredible.

now on to anaheim... Smile

I would love it more if he was wearing the Raptors jersey that Babcock decided was better suited for Andre the Giant's retarded brother.

aaarrggghhh I thought I was watching a live game here at 10 pm-why did I go on Dave's?-oh well I'm glad Korea won it. But no pitches in the 90mph+ zone. That ain't gonna work when they play the US, DR, Venezuela etc.

...and seriously, I now have to get his butt out of bed or he's going to miss his plane this morning.

well, since most of the Korean pitchers that have pitched in the WBC so far are all in the MLB.....i guess that answers the question. US, mexico (probably) will be going up against jae seo, chan ho, sunny kim, bk kim, jong bong, koo dae sung etc with a few decent KBO'ers (park myung hwan, son min han, bae yong soo etc).

i'd be more concerned about the offense, since they kinda got shut down by japan and watanbe. they are gonna be going up against some tough pitching, just hope lee seung yeop stays hot....and that the rest of the team catches a bit more on fire.

also thought the beaning of ichiro was funny.
