...well sort-of.
I teach TOEFL prep classes, and now were focusing on the new IBT speaking tests. These tests require students to speak for a given amount of time with a specified amount of time to prepare (read as, little).
My director and I came up with the plan to get some sort of highly-visible, digital clock which counts down the time for students. This is similar to what the computer would display during the test.
Unfortunately, I have thus far been unable to locate one of these. The clock? section of Yongsam got me a lot of 'ahpsayeos' and I haven't had much luck with department stores either. Any ideas?
Please don't flame for this being on the job board.. |

I use a good ole egg timer.
Alternatively, use a stop watch or hour glass. Or, as my (bright) brain sparks - there is perhaps a technique of finding a digital clock in the style you are suggesting on a website. You can display the computer screen in front of the class, or if you have more sophisticated equipment, use a projector to project computer screen image on the wall. Sounds good?
All are available in large grocery stores. - the former ideas, I mean! |

Shot Clocks- if anywhere, I'm guessing you could find them around the sports stores next to Tongdaemoon stadium. |
