Just read this link in the buy and sell forum.

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=53429

Quote:

Got a pile of mags, about 35 or 40.
good for School projects, bathroom reading, catching up on what you missed in the year of music/sports, .... who knows....

XXL, ESPN, Vibe, Source, Rolling Stone..........

Asking 15,000Won.

They will go out after the weekend if nobody wants them.

If nothing, they would just be expensive recycling.

We live in walking distance of Sadang Stn.

PM if interested

Most people would just leave them for the school (other teachers or the new teacher, or for supplies). If the school was horrible, then most people would then give them to a friend at another school. If they had no other teacher friends, they would post on here to come and pick them up for free. Or maybe I'm just different.
I hate to pick on just this guy as there are many other posts like this though I am not going to go look for them, but some of you ESL's are cheap bas1ards.

I posted this here cause I don't know the rules of the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

There are even rumours of foreigners trying to sell the contents of their fridge before they go home. Half a jar of peanut butter, 1000won. That kind of thing. Two forks, 500won.

If you live in the school's housing and you know another foreigner is going to move in.........For christ'a sake leave them something!!

Whaddaya mean cheap illegitimate offspring? If I'm leaving the country then the next foreigner owes me big time for carting the jar of peanut butter home and leaving half. You must be Republicans.

Yeah the buy/sell section is always a great source of laughs. "Errrr... yeah I want to get my ass half way across Seoul to buy your little mini floor ironing board for 5,000 won..."

When I move, you know, I'm just going to leave my toaster oven and microwave in the apartment for the next teacher.

Whenever I consider buy anything of significance I tell myself that I will probably just leave it behind or give it away and if I feel the need the need for it still outweighs that, I buy it. Anything I can resell when I leave then is just a bonus but I'm sure not going to count on it.

I wonder if Dave's Buy and Sell Forum will ever make Jay Leno's "Sold or not sold"?

Just to defend myself, neither of us have schools per se, to leave them at.

Second, we stacked up this pile, looked at it, said "what do we do with it"

roomie said, "lets just toss it" I said," maybe its useful to someone, seems like a waste.Ive seen people selling mags on daves before"

"sure check it out"

why not... seriously was it worth creating a whole post on little ol' me.....

If that's the case, I'll take them off your hands for free.

Where do you live?
