Just found a profile on a dating/quiz website I had to share. He's good-looking, but it's his clueless yet sassy approach that leaves me breathless. I couldn't write something this naughty yet innocent if I tried.

I like people. I like to meet people. I know how to handle to person.^^;; just joke.

I spend a lot of time thinking about:
I spend a lot of time thinking about my future. For example... about my wife. or my job. or my much money ^^. [/size]

He means in the future. If he were a native speaker he'd say something like "looking for that 'special someone' I can share the rest of my life with."
I'm betting he'd settle for some free English lessons.
Other than inadvertent humourous English usage, nothing here to crucify the guy over.

Oh man, that's kinda harsh posting his dating profile on here. If anybody ever found my profile on pakastanifriendfinder.com, i'd die of embarrassment

But anyways, he seems to be nice guy who likes chatting, long walks on the beach, and the isolation and selection of useful rhizobacteria.

I think you'd have a good time with him.

Him: I like fun.
You: Oh...ok.
Him: Do you like fun?
You: Yeah. I like fun.
Him: Ok. wonderful. Well, I'm off to go isolate and select some useful rhizobacteria.

I'll take down his picture if you like. I haven't mentioned his name or where it was found, and he's quite handsome in my opinion.

Certainly didn't mean to crucify him-- sure, I'd like to give him a tongue lashing but I can't decide which kind.

Seriously though: I've heard "I'll ride you," and "I'll stretch you," but ... "I'll take you"???

not strictly on-topic but does anyone else get the feeling the ceiling in that room is slowly descending and is going to crush the guy to death?

Anyone? Anyone?

That pic was taken on the set of Being John Malkovich.

He looks like a nice, solid salaryman, groping for a better future.

Shocked

What was he trying to say?

I think that "I'll ride you" is Konglish for "I'll give you a lift/drive you somewhere" but what was "I'll stretch you" intended to mean?

It looked almost as sketchy as it sounded. We were alone at night in an isolated parking lot, getting a bit sweaty as he grasped me and bent me into strange positions. He actually wanted to show me how to stretch after our long jog... well, that's what he *said* he was doing.

I was walking through Nowon's night life district one Friday with two older female Korean teachers. These white women were in front of us. Two Korean guys walked by them and said "hello" to them. They were nice looking guys. Anyway, it struck the two Korean women I was with as an odd kind of pick up attempt and they burst out laughing at the guys. Ouch. I dunno.

What's the connection here? Korean guys getting laughed at? Men feeling a little insecure when their attempts to "reach out and touch someone" are not met with approval?
