You might just want to try to stay here for your contract. If you've been here over 6 months...you want that bonus at the end of the month.

I almost did a runner when I first got here. My friend and I had it all planned. Then I backed out, but he still left.

I toughted it out and made it through the year and then found a sweet job. Then things just got better and better and if I would have went home and knew how things hee would have turned out...I would have kicked myself in the ass.

No, try to f@#$ them over for whatever - anything - you can. A hogwan director who doesnt' think that sexual assault of an employee is a big deal really, really needs to be taught a lesson.

Really though, just get out of dodge and don't tell anyone that you're leaving. Get your last pay and "see ya later". Nothing wrong with that. Doesn't affect other teachers.

Dude, don't listen to these moralizing clowns. If you want to go, go. It it your life and you are a free agent. Enjoy your flight and never look back.

About the important part of your question. Immigration couldn't give a sh$t if you are leaving before your contract is up. If you want to keep your ARC keep it. If not, don't. You contract isn't a chain around your ankle, securely fastening you to this 'country'. Just go. Don't worry. Take home some Soju to drink with friends and family while describing your experiences.
