I know that this ihas already been discussed, but I think that this really is so amazing that it deserves its own thread.
I am, of course, talking about www.asiafinest.com's Korean discussion forum. Oh, wow. This is a veritable buffet of idiots and others who defend themselves as the master race and condemn all other societies as just jealous and trying to be like Koreans.
My personal favorite thread, which I have not quite finished reading yet, is under the Korean Serious Talk link, and is titled Korea and racism against blacks, which has shown me such pearls of wisdom as...

ps -- it's kind of embarrassing to go to this thread that has a great deal of 15 and 16 year olds and see that everything works pretty smoothly. Then you come back to this board which is ostensibly run for and by adults and you get PHP error 20 times trying to make 1 post. |

I agree with this. When is the last time you heard about any kind of racial attack? There's nothing like that. Shiatty opinions like these are pervasive in Korea, but they're not exactly hate crimes, are they? The way I see it, there's a problem with racist opinions in this country, but I appreciate that Koreans don't really act on it in any dangerous way. |

This "white girls" remark smacks a bit of sour grapes, doesn't it?
It's strange to me that the "ditching" should be objected to-- would they rather the waegukin settle down and raise the little half-breeds? Better to stash them in an orphanage, I would think.
By the way, how do you non-Asian guys make these girls pregnant anyway? It couldn't possibly be that they're sleeping with you willingly... could it? |
