Police issue warning over Islamic hackers
The National Police Agency's cyber terror department said yesterday it had received a tip that Islamic hackers would launch attacks on Korean Web sites on or near March 20, the third anniversary of the start of the Iraq War.

Quite frankly I'm surprised there hasn't been more cyber-terrorism over the past few years.

Most of them don't have a computer much less know how to use it. It doesn't take much brain power to walk onto a bus and pull a string. The average muslim terrorist tends to be low on smarts and high on complaining. I think most of the educated Islamic people are not insane.

(Insane being defined as willing to kill anyone and yourself for no actual purpose)

The terrorists are pussies. They can't survive a head-on fight with anyone, so they must burn buildings, kill innocents, and make death threats from afar.

If they're so tough, why don't they put together an army to come over to the "evil west" and kill us all? Your answer is that they can't, because they are too stupid to even unite their own people because they can't agree on anything, even amongst themselves. That, and the simple fact is that they would lose. And they know it.

Pussies.

They probably know that guerilla warfare works for them, and the US has an awful track record in guerilla wars.

The police probably got all of their information from their online snitch board anyway. Next thing you know they'll issue a warning about cobras in Apgujeong.

Why don't people stop to think that JUST MAYBE there are serious problems in the world and these suicide bombers are just one result from that. Do I think suicide bombing is justified? NO.

However, someone doesn't just wake up one day and think "well...after coffee I think I'm gonna strap on some dynamite and walk into a supermarket." These people are not stupid, it takes a hell of a lot more guts to blow yourself up then it does to push a button and blow up people from a distance. Maybe if the land that you're family, friends, and people were victimized for a couple hundred years. Maybe if you're country was ruled by Britain, England, France and then arbitrarily divided into unnatural states and maybe if the only home you ever knew in your short life was a refugee camp then, maybe, you could understand these people.

Bellum, I am wrong is right. He/She was not "justifying" the killing of innocent people......just trying to shed some understanding on WHY they do this. It isn't because they are "stupid".

Your life I can say without a doubt ---- has not been hard. Your very statement is emblematic of a western crow's nest attitude. Meaning, you see hardship through rose coloured glasses..........you don't know the meaning of "a hard life" and neither do I. Their hard life isn't hard solely because of a dearth, a lack of some "thing" . It is hard because they lack the full expression of their identity. They are inuit and native peoples with guns and know how......

Uh....isn't there also something about them believing that as a payoff they're gonna have sex with thousands of virgins in the afterlife?

If I was to weigh the online-might of Islamic hackers vs Korean Netizens, it would be the later that strikes me as the more powerful.

Haven't you heard? Muslims worship Satan, who gives them great hacking power to launch denial-of-service attacks on sites they're normally not even allowed to register on.

Are you vying for most oversimplified, testosterone induced and undergraduate answer of the year, or you just like posting meaningless shite? Of course they won't come out and fight, it's asymetric warfare you dolt! I suggest ye readeth up on your Guevara and the likes then come back and contribute something salient to the debate.
