There is or was a clothing chain here called "Eigen Post". It's a somewhat stupid name (their slogan "fun and enjoy") but they were as close to a Gap as you could find in Korea. In fact, they did everything they could to make themselves look like the gap, including a navy blue square logo with Eigen Post centered in the middle with white lettering.
Recently Eigen Post has changed its name to Conus. Eigen Post was no winner of a name, certainly, but Conus? It sounds either like a MST3K movie (The Conus Horror) or a villain from the second season of Space 1999. |

| From what I last saw, it was still Eigen Post. What would be even more stupid about naming it Conus, is that there is already a company with stores everywhere named Caspi Conus. But I did still Eigen Posts around last week. |

My friend in the Korean fashion industry explained it this way:

Sorry, all I could think of when reading the subject line was "Eigenvectors" and their associated "Eigenvalues"... Maybe that's the real idea behind the name... namely a different state of something that pre-exists�� attempting to immitate something. |
